Actually, sweet old Mari Lyn has been around for a while, but she's lately been rediscovered thanks to the wonderful people of YouTube.

Madame Mari Lyn produced her own series of The Golden Treasury of Song for a public access cable television channel in New York in the mid-eighties.

The quality of her singing is just outstanding. For a sample from La Traviatta, have a peek here....

This woman destroys everything she touches, but I love her! I'm addicted to her disastrous singing. On top of her horrid diction, she sings the wrong words to most of the arias she sings, even though she's got the music in front of her! Truly delightful.
